A Telemarketing Job From Home Was Not For Me!

I quit!

I was going to try to put in at least 2 to 3 weeks and give it a real good run for it’s money but, as it turns out, I simply could not handle working 6 hours a day for zero pay (commission only) for more than one full week.

It didn’t get any better since I last told you about my experience; I didn’t make any sales, and it got even more depressing to be hung up on 100+ times a day.

I’m pretty sure I could have stuck with it if I was at least making some money, minimum wage even! But to put in 25+ hours and still not have any idea when a paycheck would be coming, if ever, was just not working out for me.

So now I’m toying around with the idea of starting a YouTube series of some kind…

Maybe I’ll do a typical vlog, or perhaps I’ll start a daily news show in the same vain as, ‘The Daily Show‘ (though much shorter, more like the YouTube series, ‘SourceFed‘).

Either way, I’m a little stiff in front of the camera and not so anxious to get out there in front of the world… Though of course if I was actually out there in front of the world, that would be a success. I guess I’m more afraid of only ever being out there in front of a handful of viewers and never actually becoming a success. Anyhow, everyone has to start somewhere, right? Ever notice how if you look back to the beginning of almost any YouTuber’s career that you’ll find some really poor quality videos of them being really awkward in front of the camera? I guess that’s where everyone has to start. So I should probably just get on out there and get the awkward videos out of the way!
